Got a question? We have the answer!

Our products are made of natural and biodegradable cornstarch (PLA), that means that no crude oil or its derivatives are being used within the entire production process. What is more, six of the colours we offer are made from 100% recycled PLA.

Absolutely. Every vase comes with a glass insert that you can also take out and put back in a very easy manner. The glass is an integral part of the design and adds the perfect practicality to a beautiful object.
Our products are made of biodegradable cornstarch (PLA) and sustain heat up to 70 degrees Celsius/ 158 Fahrenheit. You can wash the 3D printed material with cold water, however, only the glass insert is withstanding hot water and is dishwasher safe. We recommend cleaning the 3D printed material with a dry cloth only.

Our designs live in the digital cloud and are only used upon receiving your order. This means, we start the 3D printing process the same moment you fulfill your order and only produce what we are also going to ship to our happy customers. Therefore: No waste production at the Sheyn studio, located in the heart of Vienna.
Unfortunately, the world is becoming a hotter place year by year. Since the Sheyn products are made of an environmentally-friendly material that is biodegradable we do not recommend placing it in direct sunlight as this can lead to an unexpected heating process which can cause the products to melt. Same goes for cars, do not leave the Sheyn products in overheated vehicles for the same reason. We have not heard of the Sheyn products being harmed in public transport though ;-)
Let’s fix this together: Please reach out to us via office@sheyn.at and we will get back to you immediately.
